The ONE Model of EazyRizer Lift is suitable for ALL Bikes, just choose the inter-changeable mounting brackets to suit your type of bike or the task in hand.
For SuperBikes and Retros you have the option of using Wheel Mounting brackets to support the bike by it's wheels, or you can opt for the Multi-Mount brackets
- which cradle the front and rear chassis and enable full wheel/suspension removal. For Harley Davidson, Customs, Classics, Trials, Quads, ATVs and all bikes
with duplex (twin chassis) frames, the Beam Mounting option is used, which again allows full access and wheel/suspension removal.
Very Important: Some actions involved in lifting a bike are common to all of the above lifting options, so please study the following data in it's entirety, regardless of the type of bike under review. Equally many of the safety issues apply when lifting any type of bike, so you will find the information throughout the whole of this web site invaluable... ![]() Click To Magnify EazyRizer uses a totally failsafe high-tensile lead screw (threaded rod) within the lifting column to raise and lower the now firmly located bike. At the very top of the lead screw is a 24mm drive nut - here we can see that a 600watt/1000rpm electric drill (fitted with an adapter and 24mm socket) has been applied to the nut. In this photo the lift is almost 50% complete and the wheels are well off the floor. The bike could be raised using a standard speed brace or hand ratchet - enabling EazyRizer to be used in remote locations with no electricity supply. ![]() Click To Magnify Within a few seconds the bike has been fully elevated - permitting 360 degree access to all parts of your machine and just as importantly, allowing you to work on your bike without being constantly on your hands and knees! You will note that EazyRizer allows unparalleled access to every element of your bike, contrasting sharply with old-fashioned workbenches that get in your way and prevent you from working on crucial parts of your bike. You could now pull up a chair and work in total comfort. Once raised you can keep the bike aloft for as long as you wish. It is totally failsafe and cannot come down unaided. And before you ask, there is absolutely no possibility that ANY EazyRizer mounting can scratch your paintwork or damage your bike! Metal to metal contact is impossible thanks to rubber and pvc coatings on all contact surfaces. All you have to remember is to slide the mountings on to the lifting arm after you position EazyRizer under the bike, that way your paintwork is safe. Mix and Match Mounting Options All of EazyRizer's mounting brackets can be used in conjunction with each other, allowing you complete freedom of choice when it comes to performing specific maintenance tasks or lifting specialist bikes. So - Which Mounting System Will Fit My Bike? You can find out in seconds! To help you quickly locate the right lifting method we have grouped all bikes into four simple lifting categories. To save confusion later on, please read this paragraph carefully: We have created a broad categorys entitled: SuperBikes and Retros - however we are NOT categorising by performance, we merely mean the type of bike that DOES NOT have a duplex frame slung low, either side of the engine - but rather an integral chassis that allows the bike to be leaned further over during cornering. Thus the term SuperBikes and Retros apply equally to a 50cc Kawasaki AR50 and a ZRX 1100. If your bike DOES HAVE a wide-set, twin chassis frame running fore-aft of the bike, then you will opt for Beam Mounting Brackets. For more specific information click on the menu options: Harleys and Customs - for Harley Davidsons, Customs and all Classic Bikes Trials, Quads, ATVs - for all Trials Bikes, Off-Roaders, ATV's and Quads; and Scooters where applicable. If your bike DOES NOT have a duplex chassis layout - then access the SuperBikes and Retros menu option, you will find information on the maximum and minimum wheelbases that the Wheel Mounting Brackets can handle. SuperBike and Retro owners have the option of either Wheel Mounting or Multi-Mounting (via the chassis to allow wheel removal). Either way, simply click on the index option for your type of bike. |
