EazyRizer - Lifting Scooters

If you haven't studied the 'Eazy Rizer' menu option, please do so now - and then return to this page.

The true flexibility of the EazyRizer design comes to the fore when lifting Scooters, for here we rely
upon one Beam Mounting bracket to support the rear of the machine and one Wheel Mounting bracket to lift
the front wheel.

Although these brackets normally come in matching pairs, we offer a special Combination Set specifically
for Scooters. EazyRizer's Beam Mounting brackets are ideal for this particular purpose since they allow
you to firmly clamp both legs of the center stand, holding the machine rigidly to the lift - offering you
a rock-solid method of raising these machines.

The above photo shows how you can 'mix and match' brackets to fulfil any purpose. If you study
the diagram below you will notice 'hook bolts' attached to the beam. It is those hook bolts that
are slipped over the center stand legs of the scooter that lock the machine solidly to the lift.

Beam Mounting Brackets on the Lifting Bar

Here we see two Beam Mounting brackets located on a lifting arm. To lift a scooter one bracket will
be slid along the arm to the ideal lifting position under the center stand legs, whereupon the bracket
is located to the lifting arm by securing bolts. The slotted arrangement in the bracket will allow you
to position the hook bolts to align precisely with your center stand. A Wheel Mounting bracket will be
inserted in the other end of the lifting arm and slid in and out to suit the location of the front wheel.
Please remember that the top surface of the mounting brackets have a protective rubber pad to ensure that
EazyRizer cannot possibly damage or scratch your paintwork, and that the hook bolts are equipped with pvc
sleeves to do likewise.

There is no metal to metal contact.

Once this operation is complete (done in a matter of seconds on either side) the scooter can safely be
raised to it's full working height. Any size and weight of scooter can be lifted in this manner, providing
that it has a center stand. This facilitates 360 degree unrestricted access to the engine compartment.

There are no hydraulics to worry about.

EazyRizer was designed with inherent failsafe characteristics which mean that the lift cannot possibly
come down on its own - regardless of how long you leave it airborne. You do not secure the scooter via
it's side stand when using this method. Raising a scooter to an ideal working height poses a unique
engineering challenge, but as usual, EazyRizer is up to the task.
